COVID-19 Updates

We know these are challenging times for you and your loved ones. Like you, our utmost concern is for the health and well-being of each of our patients and to ensure our staff is healthy and able to continue to care for patients. With that being said, we continue to take all necessary cautionary measures and are strictly adhering and implementing all CDC recommendations and guidelines. We continue to also work with local and state agencies as we fight Covid-19. During this time we also recognize how important it is to keep the lines of communication open to give you peace of mind while we continue to meet the care needs of your loved ones while at our facility. As such, the facility will be providing updates of new developments as they take place on this page to keep you updated.

Updates:

December 4, 2020

As the facility continues to conduct routine testing of both its residents and staff, test results are being received. The facility has now been notified that 5 residents and 4 staff have tested positive for Covid19. All safety protocols are in place as the facility continues to work with Public Health.

December 3, 2020

We were made aware that a resident who had previously been transferred to an acute care hospital has tested positive for Covid19. The former resident is being cared for and monitored by the hospital staff. In addition, an additional staff member tested positive and is currently at home under quarantine. The facility has notified the various healthcare agencies and continues to work with Public Health to ensure the health & safety of fall residents and staff. All infection control and safety protocols are in place.

December 1, 2020

As we continue to conduct routine testing of both resident and staff, the facility has now learned that 5 additional residents and 1 staff member have tested positive for Covid19. The residents are being closely monitored. The employee has been in quarantine. The facility has notified Public Health and continue to work jointly with them to ensure the safety of both resident and staff.

November 27, 2020

During our routine testing, we learned that 5 residents tested positive. One resident was transfer out as a precaution. The 4 remaining residents are being kept in isolation and monitored regularly. The facility continues to work with Public Health and at this time no additional recommendations has been made by Public Health. As always, the safety and well being of the facility’s staff and resident are priority.

November 23, 2020

During our routine testing of our residents, we learned today that one of the residents tested positive for Covid-19. The resident is in isolation and closely monitored by the staff. All appropriate healthcare providers and agencies have been made aware. The facility will continue to work with Public Health to ensure the safety and well-being of this resident as well as all other residents and staff at the facility.

November 16, 2020

As the facility continues to conduct weekly testing of both residents and staff alike, results continue to come in. The facility has now just learned that the results of the residents have all come back negative that were received. However, 1 employee tested positive. The employee is now in quarantine. The facility continues to implement all necessary safety and infection control precautions. The facility also continues to work closely with Public Health to stop the spread of Covid19.

August 28, 2020

As the facility continues to conduct facility wide testing, the facility is pleased to announce that it is slowly slowing the spread of Covid19.  All of the facility’s residents have tested negative.  However, 1 employee has tested positive.  That employee is now in quarantine.  The facility continues to work with Public Health in their joint effort to stop Covid19.

The facility has now just learned that the results of the residents have all come back negative that were received. However, 1 employee tested positive. The employee is now in quarantine. As you all are aware, the facility continues to conduct weekly testing of both its residents and staff in an effort to curb the spread of Covid19.  The facility has been now made aware that 3 residents and an employee tested positive.  The employee is currently home resting and in quarantine.  The residents are in isolation in the red zone.  The facility has notified Public Health and continue to work with them.  The facility will continue to provide updates with any new developments.

August 3, 2020

As the facility continues another round of weekly testing of both residents and staff, test results are coming into the facility. The facility has learned that an additional 17 residents have tested positive for Covid19. They are being cared for in the isolation/covid unit. The facility is continuing to implement the necessary protocols. The facility continues to work closely with Public Health to try and stop the spread.

August 1, 2020

As we have been reporting, our weekly facility wide testing is ongoing and will continue until we are able to stop the spread. We have now learned that 3 additional residents and 1 additional employee have tested positive. The residents are in isolation and being closely monitored by the staff. The staff member is home under quarantine.  We continue to work with Public Health to ensure the safety and well being of our residents and staff. 

July 30, 2020

As Country Manor La Mesa Healthcare has been reporting, the facility will continue to conduct weekly testing of both its residents and staff until it can stop the spread of Covid19.  With the ongoing testing, the facility has now learned that 2 additional staff members have tested positive.  They are currently in quarantine at home.  The facility continues to take and implement all necessary safety and infection control precautions.  Public Health is aware of this new development and the facility continues to work collaboratively with Public Health.

July 25, 2020

The facility is continuing to receive results from its mass testing. An additional 3 residents and 1 employee have tested positive. Public Health has been made aware. The faculty continues to work closely with Public Health to ensure the safety and wellness of its residents and staff. 

July 24, 2020

Additional results from the facility’s mass testing are continuing to be received. The facility has now learned that 2 additional staff and 1 resident have tested positive for Covid19. The resident is now in isolation. The employees are home under quarantine. The faculty continues to work collaboratively with Public Health. All precaution have been implemented and in place. The facility continues to work on stopping the spread of Covid19. 

July 23, 2020

As test results are coming back from the facility’s mass testing of residents and staff, an additional 2 staff members have tested positive. They are currently under quarantine. The facility continues to work with Public Health. The goal of the facility is to stop the spread of Covid19. 

July 22, 2020

The facility is currently in rapid response testing mode.  As such, the facility is now slowly receiving test results of both residents and staff.  The facility has learned that an additional 11 residents and 2 employees have tested positive.  The residents are currently in isolation and cohorted in the red zone.  They are being continuously monitored.  The 2 employees are home and under quarantine.  Public Health has been notified and the facility continues to work with them.  All precautions have been implemented.  The safety and health of our residents and staff remain a top priority.

As of today, we still have four residents that tested positive in house, the other three still remain in acute hospital. The residents are under strict isolation precautions. We would also like to note that they are currently not showing any signs or symptoms. Please return to this webpage to get updates as they come in.
